Hi all,

In a reversal of roles, Natalie was allowed a pass out for a lemonade or three at the pub with Auntie Fran and friend Andy while James took care of the little one. It was the first time she had graced the Cornerhouse, the inn of choice for James and his pals and very nice it was too.

A penny a day

As promised, here are a couple of snaps from the weekend at Grandma and Grandad's in Aldbrough. There is Kasper playing see saw with Daddy(who was on his way to work, hence the smart clothing!) and Grandma enjoying a cuddle (in a different outfit after a code brown related incident, Kasper that is, not Grandma).

I saw a mouse

Hi guys,

A busy few days for Special K with a weekend away at Grandma and Grandad's in Aldbrough followed by a visit from Auntie Fran who is staying in Beverley for a few days. We'll post some snaps from these events soon but for now here are some lovely shots of the little one in the cutest trousers ever! These were a present from Natalie's Auntie Tina when Kasper was first born. He was so tiny then we thought he would never grow into them but as you can see they are just right now! Wearing them has also helped him develop an awareness of his feet as he can't stop looking at them!

Tall Boy

Hi there,

As well as gaining weight brilliantly, Kasper is also growing up fast. We think he is going to be very tall and as you can see from the picture he is already quite long! Here he is smiling at the warmth of the sun on his feet and wearing one of his new outfits. We can't wait for more sunny days in spring.

Hello again,

Most days Kasper will spend some time in his rainforest gym with a few of his favourite animals. He certainly needs a work out as he his gaining weight fantastically! He now weighs 14lb 7ounces which means he put on nine ounces in a week. Here he is checking himself out in the parrot mirror in the gym.

Hi guys,

Check out these pics of Kasper enjoying some of mummy's expressed milk from a bottle for the first time. We were experimenting to see if Natalie might get the chance to leave the house for long enough to go to the hairdressers and he seemed to like it! He is wearing a special bib made by Natalie's cousin Hollie, doesn't he look cute in it? Not sure who is feeding him though, looks like George Harrison.

Page Boy

Hello gang,

I think you'll all enjoy this post but this one is especially aimed at Fran. Here is Kasper enjoying a read of his favourite book, the Very Hungry Caterpillar with the caterpillar himself. Fran introduced Kasper to the wonderful world of the hungry caterpillar and he loves it, maybe because he has an appetite to match after putting on 12 ounces in nine days! Kasper now weighs 13lb 14ounces.

Chatty Man

Hello again,

This post is just to show off Kasper's latest trick. He is now babbling away all the time and loves a good giggle often too. We think he will soon be talking, what a clever boy. The picture is from mummy who wanted to also show off her two bestest boys in blue.

Two Jabs

Tuesday was a big day for little Kasper as he had his first set of injections, one in each leg. He was very brave and although he cried, he soon got over it, unlike mummy who was quite traumatised by the whole experience! Lunch at the Baby Cafe helped her get over it though.

Sunday and Ma and Pa Murphy brought supplies for a delicious brunch when snowy weather and Daddy's shift at work saw the McMaths confined to Beverley. Kasper was keen to sniff out the smell of sausages and bacon as you can see from the picture.

Visiting Time

Hello all,

Standby for a flurry of posts, they will all be dated today but go back to events over the past few days which we haven't had chance to update you on starting with Saturday when Kasper was treated to a visit from Auntie Chris and Uncle Derrick. He was very good for his guests, even flashing the odd smile before falling soundly to sleep. He's everyone's favourite boy.
