New Horizons

Hi there,

We hope this year will bring lots more fun with Kasper, he will certainly be walking this year and talking a lot more. Mummy will move into a new decade and her and Daddy will celebrate their third wedding anniversary too. Who knows what else will happen but we hope for lots more adventures and fun. Here we are looking out on to the horizon from the viewing area at the top of the Deep contemplating what may be.

Thinking Deep

Hi there,

We recently enjoyed a visit to the Deep in Hull. There was lots to look at for babies and Kasper really enjoyed his day. He particularly liked the jellyfish. I think we will be back there soon.

Guitar Hero

Hi there,

Kasper really enjoys music, he likes to have a dance when the radio is on or in front of the television, particularly the BBC news theme tune! He got some drums for Christmas which he loves playing and he also likes a sing song with Daddy on the guitar. Here they are in action.

Him Indoors

Hi again,

The terrible winter weather we had meant that me and Kasper spent most of our days indoors over December but Kasper didn't seem to mind. He loved playing with his toys, Thomas the Tank engine being a particular favourite. Here are a few snaps of him and one of a snowy Beverley early in the morning as I made my way to work.

How d'ya like them apples?

Hello again,

As well as enjoying a snooze, Kasper certainly continues to enjoy a healthy appetite. He also enjoys feeding himself, although sometimes this can go slightly awry, as you can see!

Party all night

Hi there,

Had to mention the New Year's party held at the McMath's. There was plenty of food, drink and party decorations and a very exclusive guest list of one - Auntie Fran. Might invite more people next year although it was easy to get the buffet. Here is Fran enjoying the dessert sandwiches, delicious!

New year, lots to cheer

Hello again,

Kasper is lots of fun at the moment, he is doing really well with his walking and can take lots of steps unaided now although it is quite hard to catch him on camera! All this hard work means he enjoys his sleep too, here is a picture of him enjoying a snoozy lie-in one winter's morning.

It's Christmas!

Hello again,

Kasper was treated to some really brilliant presents and the living room at Grandma and Grandad's was full of gifts. We also visited Grandma Jennie and Grandad Pat on the big day where Kasper received a brilliant trike which he loves.

Follow the link for a picture of Kasper enjoying his first Christmas dinner (he was just on milk last year) and see the picture below of him testing out his new trike.

Christmas Eve

Hi there,

Christmas Eve was a really nice day, a great way to relax ahead of the big day itself with lots of lovely food and some bubbly. Here is Grandad opening another bottle and Kasper enjoying his tea as mummy and daddy count their blessings.

Quack, quack, quack!

Hello again,

There were some rather curious ducks staying near our lodge in Brandesburton which Kasper found quite fascinating! He also enjoyed a walk in the snow and popping to the local pub for his lunch, what a life.

Barbados? Bahamas? No, it's Brandesburton for our holiday.

Hello everyone and a happy new year from the McMath family.

We've really enjoyed the festive period during which Kasper was at his lively best as usual. We also went on our first family holiday. We didn't go far, just to East Yorkshire's Brandesburton, near Beverley, but the beautiful snow and the company of Grandma Jill and Grandad Rob made it really special.

Here are some pictures of our trip, including a snap of us enjoying an early Christmas dinner.
